Here’s Sean’s story
It all started back in the 1990s when I was working for one of the largest global textile companies and came to London for an interview as a management consultant for Coopers and Lybrand. As part of my preparation, I had a conversation with the owner of Emile Woolf College (then a pioneer in accountancy training) and was persuaded by Karam Singh and Suresh Tanna to join them. It was a baptism of fire, and I was scheduled alongside “superstar” tutors such as Steve Lumby, Andy Perkins and Doug Beardon, and somehow I managed to survive and love it at the same time. Since then, I have been involved in several accountancy college start-ups and was a founder of the organisation, which is now known as Kaplan Financial.
During that time, I have had the pleasure of helping 10,000 plus students succeed in their exams. Many have been global prize winners but my main success has been that the vast majority pass their exam when applying the techniques I share.
